About SpotIt Locator

SpotIt Locator is a home organization app that helps you remember where you stored things. You can save item names, notes, locations, and photos so you can quickly find them later.

How data is stored

SpotIt Locator stores user data locally on the device. The app does not upload your saved item data or photos to Pynology servers.

Export and import

SpotIt Locator includes optional export and import tools in the Settings area. When you export data, the app creates a Base64-encoded JSON representation and opens your device's standard share options, such as Messages, Mail, or other compatible apps.

Permissions

SpotIt Locator may request access to your camera and photo library so you can photograph items or attach images to saved records.
